FUNCTION: This foamer contains 10% glycolic acid, zinc, copper, and glycerin. Glycolic acid exfoliates the skin and promotes accelerated shedding of dead skin cells. Copper helps reduce fine lines. Additionally, zinc has antibacterial properties and alleviates skin inflammation. 

APPLICATION: Massage into the face on a cleansed skin 2 to 3 times a week in the evening. 

Suitable for normal, combination & oily skin.

 
In addition to trending, AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) are effective when it comes to skin rejuvenation and a clear skin with and without acne symptoms. This fabric has a positive effect on pigment, aging and a dry skin and falls under the group 'fruit acids'. Alpha Hydroxy Acids belong to the classics in every skincare routine. In a nutshell: they exfoliate the skin and the stimulates cell renewal, allowing a fresh new layer to reveal itself.

Glycolic acid is in the nature abundant present, sugar-rich fruits including pineapple, papaya, and still unripe grapes. Very popular in skincare because it is the smallest of all AHA's and is water-soluble. This makes it easily absorbed by the skin. This means that both a dull skin can regain its glow and pimples can be effectively cleared up.

How to use

Apply the elementrē Intense AHA Foamer 10% to cleansed skin. Gently massage the foam in with circular motions, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Allow the product to sit for one to three minutes, depending on your skin type and sensitivity. Then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use this product once a day, preferably in the evening. Don't forget to apply sunscreen during the day, as AHAs make the skin more sensitive to the sun.

Is dit een reiniger of een peeling?

Allebei: een schuimende reiniger met 10% glycolzuur die tegelijk exfolieert. Draag je make-up, reinig dan eerst met de Cleansing Gel of Micellar Water.

Hoe vaak mag ik de foamer gebruiken?

Begin met 2 à 3 avonden per week. Verdraagt je huid het goed, dan kun je opbouwen tot één keer per dag, bij voorkeur ’s avonds. Voelt je huid droog of branderig, ga dan terug in frequentie.

Ik heb nog nooit zuren gebruikt. Is 10% niet te sterk?

Dan is de Gentle AHA Foamer 6% een betere start. Die is ontwikkeld voor dagelijks gebruik. Als je huid eraan gewend is, kun je overstappen op 10%.

Helpt de foamer bij onzuiverheden en een vette huid?

Ja. Glycolzuur maakt verstoppingen los en verfijnt de huidtextuur. Zink en koper ondersteunen de reiniging van een huid die snel vet wordt.

Moet ik SPF gebruiken?

Ja, elke ochtend. AHA’s maken je huid gevoeliger voor de zon, en zonder bescherming ontstaan sneller pigmentvlekken.

Kan ik de foamer combineren met retinol?

Niet op dezelfde avond. Wissel af: de foamer op de ene avond, je Revitalizing of Renewing Serum op de andere.
